How is Google’s Plus 1 going to affect my business? +1

+1 or Google’s new social network, Plus 1, G+, whatever it’s called, probably isn’t going to play much of a factor in your business plan right away.

Google Plus 1 +1

At the same time you don’t want to piss off Google so you should probably put the Plus One button next to your share/tweet / like, thumbs up or whatever your “This is cool”  XYZ buttons you have about.  For SEO reasons it could be your most important virtual back pats so long as Google remains the 800 pound gorilla in the search business.

Not everybody is sold on the whole thing;
Google launched one more social product, which is again a failure. Although it is very early to call it as failure, but still it has not done anything. Google plus one is just a button…

The beta release was definitely clunky for me concerning connecting with friends.  I still have a friend on Gmail I can’t connect with!

The Hangout video chat feature looks fun though and so does putting your friends in circles!

<br>

Bottom line is you should should play with it and probably put the buttons on your site and posts? Google’s failed at social before, don’t waste too much time.

Let’s hang out!

    I think Google is striving to take their rightful place in the market of social networking. I
    do not know whether they will succeed but such networks as Facebook and
    Twitter every day will remind Google that it is behind … Google has recently wanted to buy Twitter for a serious amount of money but refused to Twitter. This action by buying social network says that Google is keen to enter this market. You
    can also take into account that fact that advertising on the Facebook
    social network becomes more expensive as opposed to advertising on
    Google search engines …. Maybe beta testing plus Google has not gone so successfully but they will grow and create competition giants such as Facebook. Progress is inevitable:)

      Oh they're going to make a play but they've made 2 unsuccessful attempts that I can remember Orkut and Buzz.. and Facebook is lightyears ahead right now. the circles thing and the hangout / video conferencing I have to admit is appealing! :-)
