The Broward Convention Center is right at the foot of the 17th street causeway bridge so you can
all the cruise boats including the Biggest Boat on the Water!! The Oasis of the Sea!!
Here’s a page by Sun Sentinal on it.
I’m 1000% focused on getting Citywide Wireless off the ground. You can read up
here: http://fluidarmy.com/projects
We’re looking for funding of course, gathering contact info for those interested in working with us, and looking to form partnerships with a wide variety of top vendors in the Telecom, Media, and Smart Home industries.
If any of that sounds interesting make sure you give us your email in the form over at the ugly mock up on www.Citywide.TV or write me an email to Brian@NewWebTalk.com
The sky is the limit on this one, early investors are going to be in the big chips in a few months!!
Anyhow, here’s the hotels around the convention center.
The Hilton’s gonna have your best views and is the closest but the Hyatt on the other side of the bridge has a nice view AND a cool rotating restaurant on top.
Budget-wise the Holiday in Express is half a block away and The Renaissance by Marriott is right there and affordable too.
The Embassy Suites on 17th st. is a minute walk but they offer a nice free breakfast (real food) and a free Happy Hour!!
The last one to consider if going to rent a car is the Bahia Cabana down at the beach. Classic Fort Lauderdale:
Good times, (fun bar staff), cheap enough, (it’s a Days Inn now), and your right across the street from the beach!!
